Ashford University - Thieves, lairs, and contract brakers
I was taking their online classes, and doing pretty well. Nearing the end of my class with them, they suddenly stopped grading my work.
I contacted them several times about it, and sent in the work several different ways to ensure that they were getting it. Unfortunately I was never able to speak with anyone. I stopped my payments until this error could be corrected. Over a year passed and I was still unable to speak to anyone from the school about this.
It isn't until a collection agency contacts them about the dispute over the charges am I able to speak to someone from the school. They acknowledged the calls that were made to them and the fact they never called back. They understand that I could sue them and with the documentations, they would obviously lose.
However they feel that since there is only about $500 left to be paid, that I will shut up and pay and ignore the fact they took all my money, and gave me nothing in return. They broke their contract with me and feel that since I make little money I should be punished and they should be enriched.
Monetary Loss: $800.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Anonymous #2 you shouldโve capitalized the โIโ in your sentence since you weโre making reference to yourself and especially since youโre analyzing another person's spelling/grammar. What a dumb hypocrite!
I didn't know Ashford University had a lair! That's cool; I'll check it out the next time I go there.
Oh they do, they also have donuts in there, your favorite treat. Eat up, tubbs! :-D
i can see why they didnt grade your work you cant spell. :cry
So instead of being helpful you are going to attack them personally? What a sad excuse of a human :roll
I agree we are suppose to be able to go on here and type things that are happing at this collage and instead of getting constructive feedback we are getting judged, pretty sad if you ask me and my comment to them is if you don't like what we are writing don't read it. :(
I know someone who attended that rip-off of a college. He put all of his time and energy into earning his degree, did everything that was required of him, and his AU degree and transcripts aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
There's nothing "cool" about people who want to better themselves being scammed and/or taken advantage of!
So that person is right, the people at AU are thieves , liars, and contract breakers." Go ahead and check them out the next time you go there but those blood-sucking ***-artists just might rip you off too, especially since you think it's something to make fun of. Wouldn't that be poetic justice?
You should probably capitalize that "I", since it is the beginning of your sentence of ignorance....
I am really impressed that you can manage to spell "thieves" but have a difficult time w "liars" and "breakers." Maybe they taught you something after all.
Or they could be having difficulties focusing because of their anger. Are you really going to side with a corporation that would do that just because they misspelled a few words? There really is no hope for humanity after all :cry
Look like an ***, be treated like an ***. If you can't spell, why should you be taken seriously? :sigh
My bad I did not realize that you were so much smarter then us and if you are why are you attending a little piddle school like Ashford instead of say the university of Michigan. :grin
Spelling has no bearing on one's emotions. In fact, all skills go out the window when you're angry and frustrated and are not able to articulate your thoughts clearly.
As an English student, I know this first hand. Perhaps you should do some research instead of trying correct people. Also, nobody cares if you take someone seriously as you can't even provide a name and image to your ignorance. God help you if you have a Facebook account.
You must have some horribly retarded family members and friends. LOL.
You must be a representative of Ashford University who is being paid to troll those who make your University look bad.
Advice: If you want a good review of your school, provide good resources to help the student learn. Common sense.
